October 19th, 2011 Judgement Day October 21, 2011
The world was once alarmed by Harold Camping, a self proclaimed prophet who predicted that the world will end on May 21,2011 the judgement day which obiously not happened right? hehe
At first many people believed and repented from Harold’s teachings. Many from zealous believers of Harold donated a huge sum of money to finance his advertisement expenses from tv ads, radio ads, billboards, tarp print outs, flyers ,posters and other promotional collaterals. Some of them even sell their houses, cars and others quited from their jobs.
Then their judgement day comes.. Believers of Harold prayed the whole day while waiting for their judgement day. Until the next morning comes. Nothing happened ,no reported loss people due to rapture.
To their upset many people including the medias gathered infront of Harold Camps’ house to ask him what happened, wheres the rapture?
Harold did not say a little, even himself was shocked from what happened. He was silent until he appeared from a press conference in May 23, 2011. To calm the people and to excuse himself from his failed prophecy. He explained from this video that a rapture really happened last May 21, 2011 but in spiritual mode, thats why we didn’t see any form of destruction or any sign of Judgment day.
He insisted that on October 21, 2011 a physical version of rapture and end of the world will happened. He added that God is already reigning the earth now in spiritual mode and waiting for October 21 to destroy the whole world.
Mr. Camping listed the things that he believed to be happened on October 21, 2011
- The strongest earthquake from the earth’s history will happened on October 21.
- The earthquake will opened up the graves in the world. Corpse, and skeletons for the last 13,000 years ago to be uprooted and will scattered everywhere.
- The body of dead believers to be revive and to be raptured first, then Christians’ next.
My conclusion:
Before he prophesied the May 21, 2011 rapture he was failed already two-times. His first prediction was on September 6, 1994, then the 2nd one is April 3, 1996. One failure is enough to prove that he is a false prophet no need to watched for October 21, 2011 if judgement day will happened, because only GOD knows his 2nd coming.
